2021 SUMMER CAMP
Due to Covid 19, Marin County Parks have required certain conditions for permit holders: We need to social distance, wear masks and wash hands frequently. We encourage parents to drop-off and pick-up at the McInnis skatepark instead of commuting in the skate camp vans.
2021 Summer Camp Overview:
No more than 5 campers per counselor.
Shredders is designed for skateboarders of all skill and age levels. We teach campers safety, skills and confidence on their boards
Passionate and caring skateboarding counselors will lead students in skill development and youth empowerment.
Camp follows custom curriculum implemented by Camp Director, Chris Von Blohn.
Counselors are CPR certified by American Red Cross and experienced skate camp instructors.
Cost: $425 per week ($95 for daily drop in students.)
Children between (5 and 14) unless prior approval.
Typical Day At Shredders
10:00 - 10:30
Drive to Mccinis skatepark in San Rafael.
10:30 - 10:45
Introduction to Shredders Skate Clinic: safety review, stretching and warming up.
11:00 - 12:30
Instruction: Groups of 2 - 4 kids are taught by skilled counselors. The groups are based on skill level.
12:30 - 12:50
Lunch: Please bring your own packed lunch. Water and Snacks will be provided by staff throughout the day.
12:50 - 2:00
2:00 - 3:30
Supervised free skate and trick tips.
3:30 - 4:00
Parents sign out kids with a staff member. (Drop-off and Pick-up details below.) Drive back home.

What to Bring
Skateboard (we provide skateboards if needed.)
Safety Gear (helmet, knee/elbow pads)
Waiver and Registration form.
Lunch and water bottle.
Rules and Safety
Safety Inspections of skate area and equipment are performed daily!
We cannot allow skaters to participate without proper safety gear. Although lunch is NOT provided, please indicate any food allergies or restrictions on the registration form as snacks are provided.
