Liability Waiver

SHREDDERS SKATE CAMP RELEASE OF LIABILITY

 

Please Read Carefully – as this affects your Legal Rights

In exchange for participation in the activity of Skateboarding organized by Shredders Skate Camp (“Shredders”) and/or use of the services of Shredders, I agree for myself and my camper(s) to the following:

  1. I and my camper agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any verbal instructions or directions by Shredders, or it’s representatives or agents.

  2. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with skateboarding and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to my camper and further release and discharge Shredders for injury, loss or damage arising out of my skateboarder’s use of or presence upon the skateboarding facilities of Shredders, whether caused by the fault of the camper, Shredders or other third persons.

  3. I agree to indemnify and defend Shredders against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, cost of expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my camper’s use of or presence upon the facilities used by Shredders.

  4. I agree to pay for all damages to the skateboarding facilities used by Shredders caused by my camper’s negligent, reckless or willful actions.

  5. I consent the participation of my camper named ____________________________in skateboarding and agree on behalf of the above minor to all the terms and conditions of this Agreement.  By signing this Release of Liability, I represent that I have legal authority over and custody of this camper.

  6. In the event of an injury to the above minor during skateboarding activities, I give permission to Shredders, it’s representatives or agents of Shredders to arrange for all necessary medical treatment for which I shall be financially responsible.  The temporary authority will begin on September 1, 2022 and will remain in effect by the undersigned until December 31, 2022.  Shredders will have the following powers:

  1. The power to seek appropriate medical treatment or attention on behalf of my child as may be required by the circumstances, including without limitation, that of a licensed medical physician and/or hospital;

  2. The power to authorize medical treatment or medical procedures in an emergency situation;

The power to make appropriate decisions regarding clothing, nourishment, hydration and shelter..
